Here's How it Works ?
Please fill out the application and either email it or mail it to us. Please note that if you are awarded assistance, that we will feature you and your funding project in our Family First Braille Magazine.
The Family Assistance Program operates year round. You can apply for funding to attend a conference, purchase assistive technology, supplies, adaptive clothing, or anything else you want to apply for.
Churches, schools, community organizations or any other organizations are also welcome to apply. If you have any questions, please email me at BrendaRamsey@familyfirstbraille.com.
Why is everything for people with special needs so expensive ?
I wish I knew. I remember being so frustrated when Tyler was alive, because I knew what he needed, and I just didn’t have the money to buy it for him. One of our goals at Family First Braille is to give families and organizations the tools they need to help people with visual impairments integrate into their community. I firmly believe that no one knows your needs better than you do. So, I have established a Family Assistance program and here is how it works.
